Where History Meets the Tabletop
Experience Historical Wargaming with Reaction Games
Reaction Games began with a simple idea: historian, Andrew and Digital Games Designer Jacob, combining their passions to create something unique.
For as long as he can remember, Andrew’s been captivated by WWII history. “With a history degree and years of research into military strategy and historical battles, I wanted to bring that authenticity to the tabletop. My love for wargaming started during my time at Canterbury University in the 1980s, where I immersed myself in strategy games and local gaming communities. I saw first hand how much potential there was for a historically immersive game that was both engaging and easy to pick up.”
Jacob, having grown up playing tabletop games from an early age, developed a passion for game design. He has a Digital Games Design Degree from Brighton University where he learned how to use 3D modeling and digital design tools like Maya, making him our in-house expert in precision miniature design.
Together, we saw an opportunity to combine historical insight with cutting-edge 3D modeling, and that’s how Reaction Games was born, crafted in our small Sussex workshop with a passion for detail, realism, and gameplay innovation.
Our Mission
Jacob founded Reaction Games to fill a gap in the tabletop wargaming world. A space for historically rich, reaction-based strategy rather than just another miniatures game.
Our flagship game, Traverse, brings this vision to life. It’s a WWII-inspired combat simulation wargame where adaptability, quick thinking, and tactical reactions matter just as much as the size of your army or firepower. Instead of relying on static, turn-based mechanics, Traverse mirrors the unpredictability of real battle, where decisions happen in the moment.
But it’s not just about the game — it’s about the models themselves.
We’re passionate about miniature craftsmanship and creating pieces that stand out on the table. Our miniatures feature:
Magnetised, easy-turn turrets for realistic battlefield movement.
Precision, 3D-printed designs that bring history to life.
Customisable, paint-ready finishes for collectors and hobbyists.
Each model is designed and built with quality, ease of use, and customisation in mind, ensuring they’re as immersive as they are playable.
Reaction Games is a place where history, craftsmanship, and camaraderie come together. Whether you’re a collector, a painter, or a strategist, we invite you to join our growing community and be part of the journey.

Order Process
We prioritize customer satisfaction and strive to provide a seamless ordering experience. Here’s what happens after you place an order on our website:
Order Processing
3D Printing: Once your order is placed, we begin 3D printing using high-quality, water-wash resin in our workshop. Printing takes approximately 3-6 hours.
Support Removal: Our design and printing specialists remove the prints and supports by hand, ensuring precision with a fine brush to sweep away any stray particles. Occasionally some supports may be overseen and it is up to the customer to check their product before painting.
Ultrasonic Cleaning: The miniatures are then placed into our ultrasonic cleaner, ensuring they are thoroughly cleaned before inspection.
Inspection and Curing: Each model undergoes inspection before being placed in the curing station. We ensure complete dryness by allowing the models to dry naturally overnight for optimal finish and successful magnet application.
