Tabletop Wargaming
Historically researched wargames and miniature and made for painting, collecting and play.
Reaction Games is run by father-and-son team from their workshop in East Sussex.
Andrew’s interest in military history and model making began with Airfix, before he discovered tabletop wargaming while studying history at university. Years later, he introduced Jacob to models and games. Jacob went on to study Digital Games Design, developing the 3D-modelling skills that led them to begin creating miniatures of their own.
Today, Andrew leads the historical research while Jacob designs and produces the models. They consider accuracy, scale, and the experience of painting and playing. Every design is developed in-house, printed in their Sussex workshop and played around the tabletop they still share.

Traverse
The first edition of our new World War II platoon to company level wargame historic action simulator. TRAVERSE is designed around our central gaming ideal that combat action is about the reaction of troops and units, not casualties or hit rolls.
In TRAVERSE, you will command a platoon or company-level force of 1:100 / 15mm scale tanks, vehicles, and infantry in a narrative-driven scenario inspired by events in France, 1940. The first edition of TRAVERSE is set in 1939-1940 and includes a range of early tanks, including the mighty French Char B1 BIS and Somua and the early British cruiser vehicles, as well as the early variants of the famous Panzer I, II, III and IV.
Our in‑house ruleset, TRAVERSE, is built for players who want tactical depth without slow, complicated turns. Perfect for club nights, campaigns, and narrative play.
Process
-
01. Printed to order
Once your order is placed, your miniature is 3D printed using high-quality water-washable resin. Depending on the size and complexity of the model, printing usually takes 3-6 hours.
-
02. Cleaned by hand
The main printing supports are removed by hand before the model is placed in an ultrasonic cleaner to remove any residual resin and fine particles.
-
03. Inspected and cured
Each miniature is individually inspected, allowed to dry naturally and then fully UV-cured to create a clean, stable finish ready for final preparation and painting.
-
04. Finished and packed
Once the model has been cleaned, cured and checked, any required magnets are fitted or included with the order. The miniature is then packed and dispatched within 1-2 business days.
